Objectives

• Create a network between children from across the world all carrying their own background, and through their dialogue, educate children on different ways of living, different cultures and languages.
• On the long run, offer this ‘eye opening’ onto the world to anyone/any organisation working with young children using the developed material.
• Introduce topics such as everyday’s life for children, behaviours etc. through creative workshops as well as other learning methods. Initiate them to poetry and other forms of expression.
• Develop an awareness package, based on the participation and experiences of children across the world, which will then be distributed in schools, youth initiatives, family union, etc. Such package based on animated drawing, diaries, tapes, photos will include:
• Training material on different topics covered at school and/or throughout the exchange, for example: Family values, work, health, water…
• A website to establish a real inter-cultural dialogue between the children.
• A children book, together with an audio CD, to show the kids throughout this amazing experience (songs, photos, etc.)
• A CD including 12 songs about Mamemo’s journey, the people he met but also his mates’ experience back in Belgium.
